Active Ingredient & Protein:

Lye (relaxers that contain sodium hydroxide) or no-lye (relaxers containing lithium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, or guanidine hydroxide).

How to use

  • Mix the relaxer product in a plastic bowl according to the instructions.
  • Apply the relaxer to the new growth of your hair in small sections, using a color applicator brush. Avoid your scalp and hairline.
  • Smooth the new growth with the back of a comb.
  • Set a timer for 10 or 15 minutes, depending on your hair type and the product instructions.
  • Rinse the relaxer out of your hair with warm water and shampoo.
